Paul is a Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, currently offering private services from his practice at Elgin House. His obstetric expertise includes:
pregnancy preparation and pre-pregnancy counselling,
early pregnancy problems including nausea, vomiting and hyperemesis.
promoting health and wellbeing at all stages of the pregnancy, birth and fourth trimester
providing a safe and healthy pregnancy for women with pre-existing medical problems
Paul offers compassionate care and support with miscarriage, multiple miscarriages and the management of ectopic pregnancy.
Paul is passionate about promoting health and wellness at all stages of life including during pregnancy. He takes a holistic approach to pregnancy looking after the woman, her baby, her family and health in the future.
A graduate of the University of Queensland, Paul trained at The Royal Women’s Hospital and currently holds a position as consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. Paul’s training and experience means that he is comfortable delivering obstetric care to women with pre-existing or complex medical problems. Paul regularly provides care for women with severe hyperemesis, multiple pregnancy, women who have had a prior caesarean section and women with pre-existing medical problems.
Paul’s care in women’s health includes heavy, painful or irregular periods and polycystic ovarian syndrome. He assists with a full range of gynaecological concerns including pelvic pain, endometriosis, adenomyosis, uterine polyps or fibroids, abnormal pap smear results and contraceptive choices.
Paul trained and now works in the advanced laparoscopy units at both The Royal Women’s Hospital and Sunshine Hospital.
Paul is passionate about teaching and supporting the wellbeing of junior doctors.

Dr Paul is accredited at the best maternity hospitals in Melbourne so you can choose the hospital where you’d prefer to have your baby.
Compassionate and understanding by nature, many patients with Hyperemesis seek care from Dr Paul, to help them manage this very difficult condition.
